In the spring, on Easter Monday more precisely, the relics of Saint Véron, the patron of Lembeek, near Tubize, are carried from altar to altar in a military march, one of a number in the "Entre-sambre-et-Meuse" region… The procession leaves from Lembeek and is made up of several groups wearing old uniforms. One of these groups includes more than a hundred horsemen. Renowned in the Roman Païs, this military "march" attracts many who are curious and those who love colourful processions. |
