Since 1982, the year of the first official ceremony granting labels, the Brotherhood has given out quality labels (from one to five stars) to the best producers each year.

This award, a guarantee of quality for both experienced regulars, enthusiasts and curious visitors, is the result of very serious tests, based on carefully studied criteria, carried out by the members of the Brotherhood, grouped into five commanderies of djote taste.

While the event attracted only a few dozen of the curious on the first occasions, several hundred now attend this event that gives rise to a show in the course of which prominent events in local politics over the past year are ironically highlighted. The evening ends with tasting the tarts offered by those receiving labels… for the lucky or the clever who manage to reach the famous "târte" through the festive crowd.
