The Roman Païs invites you to take the time to discover or rediscover the simple pleasures of a walk with friends or family, following country lanes and paths in the heart of a preserved environment.
The Braine-le-Château Tourist Office (+32 (0)2 366 93 49) has issued an IGN map, sold alone or with an explanatory guide, listing the details of the trails and the heritage to be discovered. The Ittre Tourist Office (+32 (0)67 64 87 74) offers a folder of walks including a map with 10 itineraries, but in particular also 10 individual explanatory sheets describing each of the walks. The Rebecq Tourist Office (+32 (0)67 63 82 32) offers you its tours: - Map of walks in Rebecq: 3 pedestrian and bicycle trails (5-12-20 Km) - Map of remarkable trees: 3 loop itineraries on the map on the front (15-9-15 Km), and on the back, photos of the trees and their names; map developed by the IGN - 'Main dans la main' (Hand in hand) trail accessible to handicapped persons starting from the office (Chemin du Gibet, 1), going toward the Arenberg Mills over approximately 4 Km - Circuit Fifty One: marked trail (green/blue line) starting from the Mills (map facing the Grand Moulin) and going through the Valley of Birds over 3-6 or 9 Km, as you choose. The Tubize Tourism and Heritage Office (+32 (0)2 355 55 39) has issued a guide to walking tours in the Municipality of Tubize, showing 8 marked trails (approximately 60 km). Each itinerary is introduced by a general historical commentary. It also includes an explanation of the course to follow, numerous photos, information on the attractions to see and a topographical map.
