| The 'Archiduc' of Nivelles |

An amber beer with a pleasant characteristic taste, the 'Archiduc' has been produced since 1888 by the Duvieusart brewery in Nivelles. Destroyed by fire in 1955, the Duvieusart brewery, well-known in Nivelles, had to halt its activities, and therefore had to stop production of 'Archiduc' beer, which it had brewed since 1888. Today, the Ecaussinnes brewery, still using the rediscovered traditional recipe, continues to produce one of the jewels among the local products of our region. |
