The municipality of Rebecq includes the areas of Bierghes, Quenast, Rebecq-Rognon and Wisbecq. Rebecq has a rich history with distant roots in which the Seigneurs of Enghien, Trazegnies and Arenberg were among the best-known figures. When you explore the historic centre of Rebecq you will be spoilt for choice. The Arenberg water mills, exceptional vestiges of mediaeval economic activity, are a notable feature in the atmosphere of this village crossed by the Senne.

The Quenast porphyry quarries, the 'Maison de la Bière' (House of Beer), milling demonstrations, a day on the farm, and the course of the little steam train through the beautiful Brabant countryside are all original aims for excursions to make, in a group or individually.
