The Collegiate Church of Saint Gertrude in Nivelles will open its doors to you to share its majestic beauty, architectural as well as historic, before you continue your journey with a stroll to discover the numerous treasures of Braine-le-Château, a genuinely enchanting green treasure like its region, the Roman Païs.
Organised visits:
Every day by reservation from 9 am to 5 pm (except Sunday morning for the Collegiate Church of Nivelles)

Visits conducted by a tour guide in your choice of French or Dutch.
Groups of 25 persons minimum.
Price: 30 € per person (drinks not included)

Start the day in the very pretty setting of the Chapel of the Soeurs de l'Enfant Jésus in the heart of the village of Ittre, where you can discover magnificent canvases by Marthe Donas, the principal representative of Belgian cubism. We then take you to the ‘Glass Chapel’ of Fauquez to share with you the special features of the marbrite that was the origin of the tremendous boom of the Fauquez glassworks in 1919.
After a meal in Nivelles, we close your day in the Roman Païs at the Collegiate Church of Saint Gertrude, with its history and its treasures.

Stroll through the green undulating countryside of Braine-le-Château and see its “tours" and detours along the bucolic windings of its waterways. Its buildings and their architecture will tell you stories...
A stop, this time to titillate your taste buds, will fortify you before you board the ‘Petit Train du Bonheur’ to Rebecq that will take you through, among other things, the ‘Vallée des Oiseaux’ (Valley of the Birds) and show you remarkable views, to the delight of young and old.

A morning in Rebecq, immersed in its story of the professions of yesteryear, thanks to visits to the Museum of Porphyry at the Arenberg ‘Grand Moulin’ (Big Mill) and the Quenast quarry; a gourmet stop offering the tastes of a region full of surprises.
