The double visit to the Arenberg Mills, the Grand Moulin (Big Mill) with its Museum of Porphyry and its temporary exhibitions, the Petit Moulin (Little Mill) with its milling trade and the detour by the House of Beer, with a tasting in collaboration with the local Lefebvre brewery. Then, as you choose: a getaway on board the ‘Petit Train du Bonheur’ (from May to September) or a tour of greater Rebecq with your motor coach.

Installed in the Grand Moulin (Big Mill) of Arenberg built during the 13th century, the Museum of Porphyry explores the history, equipment and knowhow of the quarry workers before the machine age.

Guided visit to the permanent Museum of Porphyry and explanatory film, followed by a visit to the site of the Sagrex quarry in Quenast.

A 4 km trip through the pretty Rebecq countryside, along the Senne, in the middle of the Vallée des Oiseaux (Valley of Birds).
The ‘Petit Train du Bonheur’ is available each year from 1 May to 1 September only.

Located on either side of the falls of the Senne, in the very heart of the village of Rebecq, the two Arenberg water mills are a vital part of the captivating atmosphere of this typical corner of the Roman Païs. The property of the Seigneurs of Rebecq, one of them was already operating as of the end of the Middle Ages. Today they are centres for various activities held in an authentic setting for you to discover.
